New Release of Tax and Accounting Add-on FP2025.09.08: What’s New?

We are pleased to announce the release of the new Tax and Accounting add-on FP2025.09.08 from best-run Consulting for SAP Business One.
This update is designed to boost the efficiency of accounting and finance departments, automate routine operations, and reduce the risk of human errors when handling tax documents.
Key updates in this release:
- New “Approved” field in Incoming Tax Invoices
A new Approved field has been added to the Incoming Tax Invoice document. Its behavior is similar to the field in the Tax Invoice document: an accounting journal entry will only be created if this checkbox is selected. - Enhanced “Batch XML Import/Export” Assistant
It is now possible to import incoming tax invoices as drafts first, and only post them after verification. This improves data quality control and helps prevent errors during mass document uploads. - Automated creation of consolidated tax invoices
A new mechanism has been added to generate Consolidated Tax Invoices automatically based on incoming tax invoices marked as “non-business activity.” The logic for generating XML files has also been updated to include the numbers and dates of the source documents.
The Tax and Accounting FP2025.09.08 release makes working with tax invoices more convenient, faster, and easier to control. It is aimed at reducing manual work and minimizing risks — a crucial benefit for accounting and finance teams handling large volumes of tax documents daily.
